Home staging is the process of organizing the furniture and other décor in your home so that it looks as appealing as possible to home buyers. Sometimes, we bring a professional stager in to add some of their own pieces, and other times we make use of all the items you already have in your home.
Staging can make a big difference in how quickly your home sells and for how much. According to some studies, homes that are well-staged have sold for up to 17% more than similar properties.
You don’t necessarily have to do a whole lot of work to take advantage of proven staging techniques. Some of these more simple techniques include taking some time to declutter or rearranging furniture to help a room look larger.
