The Fall Market is here and ramping up

If you are thinking of moving and wanting to be in your new home before Christmas, now is the time to look at putting that For Sale sign on your Front Lawn. Although the thought of doing this could feel stressful, and maybe hold you back from doing so.

Hiring a Real Estate Agent is one of the best ways to help alleviate the stresses that you may feel. Here are a few things that I would suggest in regards to picking out your next realtor ( Hopefully that could be myself Alicia Linklater).

  1. Meet with them before hiring
You are trusting this person to sell one of your biggest assets but also the home you have grown attached and have made so many memories in. You want to make sure that they have your best interest at heart. You also want to make sure you feel comfortable with them yourself.
  1. Check Reviews or Reach Out to Past clients
This is always a good point to reference. You want to make sure that they have had great success with past clients and can understand how they felt during their process with the realtor.
  1. Ask About Professional Awards
Peer-given awards count. Agents are the best as judged by their peers.
  1. Selet An Agent with The Right Credentials
You want to make sure that your agent has all the right credits and certificates to properly make the selling and buying process an easier for you and know that the job will be done correctly.
  1. Look at the Agents Current Listings
Check out an agent’s listings online. Places to look include the real estate agency’s website and sites such as Realtor.ca, which offer a searchable online database of properties in the multiple listing service. Most buyers start their search online, and you want an agent who uses that tool effectively. A key thing is an attractive presentation on the web.

I really hope this will help with your search in finding the correct Realtor.
