Last year Alicia participated in the Annual Dragon Boat Festival in Barrie by joining the Heart and Stroke team. She had her mother (a survivor) and her Aunt join her on this fun and rewarding day.Months of practice with her team on beautiful Kempenfelt Bay in Barrie helped to prepare her for this new endeavour. Although there are many professional rowers competing in this event, there are also a number of charity teams that join in. Raising money, awareness, and having fun!
